Our cat Jak, a blue Burmese, stayed at The Cat’s Meow for nearly two weeks recently.

It was an experience which will definitely be repeated. The cattery is air-conditioned and the suites comfortable with a range of options to suit the budgets of most people who care for their cats.

Jak is very much a homebody but with attention and care he adapted quickly. We met Sharon when she was a respected veterinary nurse at The Cat Clinic in Paddington. We were pleased when she opened her facility in Samford as she is well known for her care and dedication to animals.

Jak is a healthy five-year-old cat and we had no problems entrusting his well-being to Sharon, knowing she would make decisions in his best interests. Jak returned home and behaved as if nothing unusual had happened in his life, a very good indication of how comfortable and happy his stay was.

We would have no hesitation in recommending The Cat’s Meow to anyone who needs accommodation for his or her cat. Jak is already pre booked for the next couple of holidays.

We have used Sharon and Cat's Meow cattery twice in the past two years, most recently for three months while we took an extended overseas holiday in late 2010. Our cat Quito is a 2 year old devon rex x burmese with a strong nature, and we were very impressed with Sharon's good reputation, obvious dedication and her excellent facilities at Samford.

Choosing a cattery for long term boarding was a difficult decision, but based on our good experience with Quito's previous visit and further discussions with Sharon, we were happy for Quito to stay at Cat's Meow where she not only had access to an outdoor suite but was also allowed free time in the office to interact with Sharon and her staff. This was very important to us as we were worried about leaving our young and highly interactive cat for such a long time.

Sharon was very understanding and emailed us with photos while we were away so that we could see how Quito was going, and it definitely put us at ease to know that she was in safe hands while we were overseas.

We will be returning to Sharon for future stays and have already recommended Cat's Meow to other cat owners.

I just wanted to say thank you so very much for looking after my babies. 

When I found out that I has moving to Tasmania and that it could take up to four weeks before my furniture and house would be ready I was worried as to where was I going to house Bahli and Cheradn, my two ragdoll kittens of only 17 weeks. A friend who had used your facilities before recommended you and said that you treated and looked after your cat boarders like we as over possessive owners do.

After chatting with you I knew that they couldn’t go anywhere else. I have never turned back after making that decision and would make it again in a flash if I had to leave my babies for a long period of time again. Both Bahli and Cheradn were returned to me as they were sent to you and they were happy to see me but most of all they were happy and that took a load off my mind knowing that the move and time away wasn’t too stressful for them. In fact the time away actually made them closer to me when they got home, I had two shadows for days and they constantly like to be in the same room as me making sure that I haven’t gone away again.

I would just like to again say thank you so very much for taking such excellent care of my babies and as I said before I will recommend you to anyone that I know who requires boarding of their precious cats.

Izzy recently had a 2 week stay at the Cats Meow and I can highly recommend this lovely boarding facility, and the wonderful care provided by Sharon and her staff. 

Izzy was re-homed into my care late last year, so I was anxious about leaving her, and  keen to find a cattery that I felt comfortable with.  

I was warmly welcomed to visit the Cats Meow before booking, and Sharon was so helpful showing me around and answering my questions.  Having worked for many years as a Vet Nurse at the Cat Clinic, she is certainly very experienced and dedicated to the care and wellbeing of cats.

Izzy stayed in a lovely garden suite and settled quicker than I had expected.  It was so lovely to be able to see the daily photos on FB and Sharon also very kindly responded to my texts. 

I can highly recommend the Cats Meow and will certainly be a returning customer.

We are so happy to have chosen Cat's Meow to take care of our much loved 15 yr old pussy cat, Bonchance.

We had initially planned on being away overseas for 1 year which was a very long time to be boarding our fur baby. So we made many inquiries as to which cattery might be best suited and Sharon was recommended from a few different sources. So we went with these recommendations. The cattery is in a lovely bushy setting and has a variety of spacious, clean rooms/suites.

As it happened our best laid plans did not go quite to plan and our baby ended up being with Sharon & her team for 2 years.

Sharon was always quick to respond to my emails and put my mind at ease and often posted pics for us to see how she was doing.  She also arranged for vet checkups.

We are so happy to be reunited with our baby once again. She looks fabulous  just as when we left her in Sharon's care so she has clearly been well looked after. And to have her remember us and to be so affectionate and loving after all that time away from her has been a bonus.

I don’t like to send SoHo away from home but the obvious love Sharon has for cats put my mind at ease immediately. 

The bushland setting is beautiful and very peaceful and the facilities are immaculate.Sharon emailed me regularly during the 5 weeks SoHo stayed with her, which put my mind at ease about leaving SoHo away from home for so long. Sharon ensured SoHo received lots of cuddles and attention, which she loves.

SoHo enjoyed her stay so much she is visiting Sharon again in the New Year.
